Read a metric

Modified on Tue, 16 Feb, 2021 at 10:41 AM

Once you run a query, Orbit Insight displays business-oriented dashboards including metrics.

Each metric has several reading levels and works the same.

At the first level, you can access to the graph title and the keys metrics.

When moving your mouse over a graph, a tool tip is displayed to help you understand the results.

To get more information about the metrics, click on the information bubble available at the top left corner of the graph: it displays a new window explaining how the graph has been built, which data has been used and gives you tips and tricks to understand and interpret the results. It gives you the keys to contextualize the results.

To go further, click More details in the Information window to access more advanced information.

Finally, clicking on the graph allows to display a detailed view.

The information bubble is always available on the graph.

Filter options are available on the right side. Filter options may vary depending on the data set that has been analyzed.

Underneath the graph, you can find the set of documents on which is based the analysis (i.e. patents, projects…) or the list of actors (Experts/Organizations profiles) raised by the system. This list is automatically updated when using the sort options.

Click on the document title to display a quick view.

Click Open to display fully the document.

To go further, you can click on View all in the list of documents/organizations to access additional indicators related to the list of items.
