The Main applications shows in which applications my technology is the most used.
The main technology areas are a great way to identify potential applications of an invention. Indeed, the analysis of the areas in which the other patents are categorized in the same field provides information on the uses that applicants and/or examiners have envisaged.
How is the graphic built?
The graph shows the top technology domains in the topic analyzed. The technology fields are based on a classification set up by the World International Patent Office (WIPO) and takes into account the International Classification assigned to patents by the examiners in charge of their examination.
