You cannot add truncations operators manually. However, both singular and plural forms are automatically taken into account.
When the Boost my search option is disabled, singular and plural forms are taken into account.
To broaden the search, you can use the Boost my search option: the system will automatically search for words variations (conjugated forms, word family...).
