Organization Profile - Why

The Why pane is available only if you run a query previously.



The Why pane highlights the reasons why an organization is raised by the system. It justifies and explains why an organization is relevant on the searched topic with elements in terms of:

  • Experience : How long have they been working on the topic?
  • Momentum : Are they still active on the topic? Did they publish or file patents recently on the searched topic?
  • Network and influence : What is the dimension of their network on the topic?
  • Patenting activity : Did they file some patents related to the searched topic?
  • Scientific activity : Did they publish publications, participate to projects or clinical studies related to the topic?
  • BuzzDo they communicate on the topic on their website?



Each item is clickable so you can get more detailed information.



Experience 

The Experience allows to see at a glance the experience of an organization on the searched topic.


The Experience combines 2 parameters : Date of publication and regularity of the work to date. 


When clicking on Experience, you can access to an overview of the scientific works related to the searched topic done by the organization.



You can access to the list of works (patents, publications...) underneath the graph et you can also apply filters.


Momentum 

The Momemtum shows the activity trend over last years. This projection allows you to grasp if the company is accelerating investment on this technology.  You can easily understand if the organization is still active on the topic: did they publish or file patents recently on the searched topic?



The Momemtum combines 2 parameters : Amount of recent works  and acceleration during last years. 


When clicking on Momemtum, you can access to an overview of the recent activity in terms of scientific works related to the searched topic done by the organization.



You can access to the list of works (patents, publications...) underneath the graph and you can also apply filters.


Network and influence 

The Network and influence shows the dimension of the organization's network on the topic.


Network combines 5 parameters : Centrality of each player, size of the network, reach of the network, diversity of partners and participation in collaborative activities (projects…). 


When clicking on Network and influence, you can access to the network of the organization related to the searched topic.



Click on an organization to access its profile. You can apply filters to easily understand influence, evaluate reach and identify relevant relations with competitors or partners. 


Patenting activity 

The Patenting activity shows the list of patents related to the topic filed by the organization.


The Patenting activity  is based on the amount of patents filled on a topic. 


When clicking on Patenting activity, you can access to the list of patents related to the searched topic filed by the organization.



You can access to the list of patents families related to the topic underneath the graph and you can also apply filters.



Scientific activity 

The Scientific activity shows the list of publications, projects or clinical studies related to the topic published by the organization.


The Scientific activity combines the number of published documents,the sum of the scores of its documents (all types) and the diversity of the scientific works.


When clicking on Scientific activity, you can access to the list of scientific works (publications, projects, clinical studies) related to the searched topic published by the organization.


You can access to the list of scientific works related to the topic underneath the graph et you can also apply filters.


Buzz 

The Buzz shows if the organization is active on the web : do they communicate on the searched topic on their website?


When clicking on Buzz, you can access to the list of web pages related to the searched topic published by the organization.



You can access to the list of web pages related to the topic underneath the graph et you can also apply filters.
